General information

Oyster pond is one of the most exclusive, secluded neighborhoods of the island. Right in the border of the Dutch and French side, this area belongs to a territory with a truly exotic combination of contrasting natural land and sea scenarios that have captivated all its inhabitants and visitors. Million-dollar villa owners have chosen to settle in due to its natural atractiveness and the majestic views to the Atlantic Ocean and French. St. Barths. The neighborhood itself does not have a beach (although Dawn Beach is so close that it can be considered part of Oyster Pond), however it does provide a convenient harbor that protects sailboarts and charterts from occasional choppy seas.

Oyster Pond Marina

The Oyster Pond Marina makes of this village a unique starting point for the best oceanic adventures, with yatch, boats, catamaran and more sailing out to the caribbean sea facing the Atlantic Ocean and french St. Barths. Popular ferry services such as the Voyager, depart on scheduled times during the week via St. Barths. 


According to official geographical information, Oyster Pond is located in Upper Prince's Quarter sub-locality, Upper Prince's Quarter locality, Sint Maarten State of Sint Maarten Country. However, it’s longitude and latitude reach the french side by far, being most of the the restaurants and other atractions on such part of the island.


Besides its unique location, natural resources and astonishing villas, Oyster Pond is also well know for offering a wide variety of ocean view and waterfront restaurants (some of them very well-known for it’s quality service and gastronomy).
