There are many possibilities to encounter the world of (scuba) diving. The most popular diving courses are listed below.
Scuba dive course
Take place on the boat after a safety briefing and some general information to ensure a personal and professional service. All the diving gear will be included and already present on the boat if you book the two tank dive trip. After a quick boat ride you will receive a full briefing with clear instructions how to use your diving equipment to ensure a safe dive. You will be taken to two different spots around the island and experience unique water views. Explore the best of St. Maarten’s underwater world. Diving gear will be included and you will be guided by experienced diving instructors.

Discover Scuba diving
The ‘discover scuba diving’ is for those who have no experience with diving. This special course will introduce un-certified divers to the beautiful under-water world of St. Maarten. You will achieve our own diving equipment and receive a professional briefing from the staff at the dive centre to comfort everyone who is new to scuba diving.
The PADI Open Water Diver
PADI stands for Professional Association of Diving Instructors and the Open Water Diver course is one of the most popular and well known Scuba courses around the world. Taking this course will lead you to a full-entry level of the PADI diver certification. When you have completed this course you are certified to dive on many places around the world up to a depth of 60 Feet (18 Meter).
The PADI Open Water Diver is also a pre-requisite for more advanced Scuba Dive courses.
- For this course you will need to have basic swimming skills and be comfortable with being in the water.
- This course will consist of three parts: Knowledge development, water sessions at the dive centre and open water dives in the ocean.
