Mullet Bay: Nice and clear water. On this side of the island the water is not that rough. Most of the time on Sunday there is music and you can see the airplanes coming in as well.
Bay Rouge: Small beach with a beach bar to get something to drink or eat. You have a view of Anguilla

My favorite activity is:
Rhino Safari: On a Jetski from Simpson Bay to Grand Case. Snorkeling at Creole Rock. Go for a day to St. Barths with the Voyager. Spend the whole day with a rental car and drive around the island; beautiful views and nice restaurants. Note: It is kind of expensive though.
Quad tour; very exciting Anguilla tour with Swaliga. 1 day on the water and you go snorkeling at 3 different spots. 1. Anguilla 2. Prickley Pear 3. Sandy Island. You will have lunch on Prickly Pear. There are drinks and some snacks on the boat. Great day
Golden Eagle Tour: Boat trip around the island. Snorkel at different spots and have lunch on the French side. Drinks and some snacks are included on the boat. Excellent full day on the water, to see every side of Sint Maarten from the water.

Good food and service. Live music every night and they have a menu which is good for everybody in the family (young and old)

If I would spend three days at Sint Maarten, I would go to (why):
Day 1: Rent a car and drive around the island: Philipsburg – the shops, the boardwalk and have lunch and some drinks at the Taloula Mango at the boardwalk. Drive to the French side and pass the airport, Marigot – walk around and at night go to a restaurant in Grand Case. While driving you will see different beaches; Great Bay, Maho Beach, Mullet Bay, Bay Longue, Bay aux Prunes and Bay Rouge
Day 2: Have lunch at ‘Pistache’ next to the Movies. If it is a Friday or Sunday, go to Mullet Bay first, around 3 pm to Maho Beach /Sunset Bar and watch the airplanes land. At night, have dinner at Pineapple Pete. This is a casual restaurant with a nice atmosphere; the price/quality is good.
Day 3: Go to Orient Beach in the morning. After lunch, drive to Pic Paradis and have a cocktail at the Lottery Farm. At the lottery farm you can do the ‘tree to tree hopping’. Have dinner in Grand Case, this is one long street with a lot of different restaurants.

Day 3: Snorkeling at dawn beach, after that have diner at Taloula Mango’s on the Boardwalk in Philipsburg.

Day 1: Visit Anguilla, I heard that they have nice Sandy beaches.
Day 2: Visit Saba, do hiking
Day 3: Visit Saba, Learn to dive. Great underwater marine Park.

If I would spend three days at Sint Maarten, I would go to (why):
Day 1: Breakfast in Marigot by le croisanterie, walk to Fort Louise for the great view overlooking Marigot and Anquilla, go to Orient and enjoy the beach. In the evening go to Grand Case end enjoy diner in one of the best restaurants on the island.
Day 2: Do the Rhino Safari or take a trip with the golden eagle, or Horse riding. This way you see something of the island that is special. The Rhino is special because it is very fast and you can snorkel. The Golden Eagle is with a boat around the island, you stop by the island Tintemare for a mud bath or you can enjoy the beach, you can snorkel by Creol Rock, have a nice lunch in Grand Case en see Sint Maarten from the water. Or Horse riding by le Gallon end swim with your horse in the ocean.
For diner go to the stone or Toppers and after diner enjoy the nightlife of Sint Maarten.
Day 3: Do a hike by the Lottery farm and have lunch there, or make the hike from Point Blanch to Guana bay (costal hike) and have lunch over there. For the evening go to Marigot and have diner at the Harbor or by the harbor by the lagoon.
There is so much to do on Sint Maarten, you need more day´s to spend on the island.
Day 4: Breakfast by Chesterfield, Go the rest of the day to Pinel and relax. For diner go to La Cadre in Orient and enjoy the tapas. Afterwards stroll along the beach or go to the chapel (bar).
Day 5: Do a Kayak tour on the Laguna. Lunch by the Bagel house in Simpsonbay and drive to Grand Case to the sunset cafe and lay down on the beach and enjoy the sunset with a cocktail or a good glass wine. You can also have your diner there.
Day 6: Go fishing with Buba on little fish it is for the whole family and a half day trip, take the submarine to see Sint Maarten underwater or go with captain Allan( fast boat) to 3 islands and snorkel, maybe you see a turtles. Have diner by Chesterfields.
Day 7: Breakfast by Holland house and discover Philipsburg, or have lunch by fusion on the boardwalk, go to the butterfly farm and enjoy Orient or Le gallon.

On Sunday there is a champagne brunch at the Westin (it is also possible without the champagne).
On Saturday there is a buffet at Captain Olivers.
On Wednesday there is a pirate diner at the Westin.

If I would spend seven days at Sint Maarten, I would go to (why):
Day 1 (Thursday)
The first day I would drive around the island and have a look at all the beautiful beaches on the island. I would stop by sunset beach bar to have dinner and drink something.
Day 2 (Friday)
The second day I would go on the Golden Eagle Tour, takes whole day and you can see the whole island. It starts at 9am and finishes at 5pm. You stop by the Tintemare Island, there you can relax on the beach and drink something. After that you can snorkel by Creol Rock and then have a lunch in Grand Case. After that you sail back to Philipsburg and see a lot of nice places and beaches. After that I would go for dinner at Jimbo’s and after that I would go out to Soggy Dollar.
Day 3 (Saturday)
The third day I would go to Great bay. Relax on the beach and do some water activities. I would eat something at Marks place and in the evening I would go to Bliss, a really nice club at Maho beach.
Day 4 (Sunday)
I would first go to Maho beach, watch the plans land. After that I would go to Karakter, a nice beach where a lot of Dutch interns and tourists come. I would play beach volleyball on the beach and sit at the bar and drink some nice cocktails. In the evening I would go to Pineapple Pete and have a nice cheap dinner. After that I would go to La Bamba and finish my day with one or two more cocktails or daiquiris.
Day 5 (Monday)
Shopping in Philipsburg. Go to all the shops in front street and backstreet and buy some new clothes, souvenirs and other things. In the afternoon chill on Dawn beach for a while. In the evening I would eat something at the Greenhouse.
Day 6 (Tuesday)
On day six I would visit another island in the area, for example Pinel, to relax all day on the beach. In the evening I would go to Lady C (from 10 until 12 it is 2 for 1!). I would hang out on the boat, drink and dance a little.
Day 7 (Wednesday)
Drive around on the French side. Maybe shop a little in Marigot. After that I would go to Grand Case and Chill on the beach all day. On Wednesday it is ladies night at Tantra and Bliss. I prefer Bliss, so I would go there. Free entrance and champagne all you can drink.

Day1:
The first day I would go drive around the island to explore and enjoy the amazing views.
Day2:
Go on the Golden Eagle tour to sail around the island, snorkel, swim and relax on the boat and the deserted islands you pass. Enjoy the music, sun, drinks and great holiday atmosphere. After the Golden Eagle tour you can walk to the board walk to enjoy a nice dinner looking over the ocean.
Day3:
In the morning I would go for some shopping in Philipsburg and take a drink on the boardwalk. In the afternoon I would drive to Karakter (Simpson Bay Beach) for a nice lunch and relaxation on the beach. On the way back I would stop at Pineapple Pete’s for dinner in Simpson bay. Later in the evening I would visit LadyC for a drink and a dance.

When I would be on this island for 7 days I would spend my days by visiting (why):

Day1: Rent a car and drive around the island: To go to Philipsburg and walk at the boardwalk. To have a lunch at the firehouse and after the lunch to go to the Back- en Front street.
After this I would go to Pineapple Pete in Simpson Bay to have a nice dinner and listen to the music of Ronny Sultana. He is a very good singer and plays a lot of country music.
Around 11 PM to go the a club, like The Soggy Dollar or Lady C
Day2: This day I would go to Grand case on the French side, to have a lunch in one of restaurants and after this I will drive to Orient Beach to go to the beach and to do a water activity (Jet Ski, Parasailing)
Later the evening I will go to Big Fish, this romantic restaurant located by Oyster Pond is a very pleasant restaurant with friendly staff and real Caribbean Music on the background.
If I finished my dinner I would go to La Bamba to enjoy a cocktail and listen to the music

Day 5:This day I would drive to Cul de Sac to go to Pinel, this is a small island! Here you can relax on the beach; I am taking my fridge box with me and enjoy the whole day on the beach. To go to Pinel you need to go by boat.
Day 6: Day trip St. Barths, here you can rent a car, this is a expensive island but the beach is fantastic!
Day 7: On my last day I will go to Philipsburg, to buy some souvenirs to bring back home! Also I would go to great bay to make some pictures of the big cruise ships! Maybe if I have time left I would like to jet ski

Le Gallion, a small beach but nice and quiet not too busy. The waters are not too deep or too rough, perfect for kids.

My favorite activity is:
Ras Link Quad bike tour of the island, an awesome way to spend your day touring the whole island. Swaliga II is also an amazing snorkeling experience and a well spent day on the water.

My favorite romantic restaurant is:
Sheer, a relatively new restaurant in St. Maarten. It is very classy and chic, a perfect way to spend a romantic evening and enjoy some fine cuisine. The staff and service is just as wonderful as the food.

My favorite family restaurant is:
Jimbo’s, a trendy yet family orientated place with a fine menu to order from.

My favorite club is:
The Alley is great on Tuesdays; it’s 2 for 1 Tuesdays the whole night. It’s usually always filled with people and great music. Tantra is great on Wednesdays because it’s ladies night, free champagne and apple martinis all night.

If I would spend three days on the island, I would go to (why):
Day 1: First and foremost, I would rent a car. I would spend the first half of my day driving round the island just to familiarize myself with my surroundings and check the scenery. Next, I would stop off in Grand Case for a great BBQ rib lunch and where I would spend the rest of my day window shopping in all the cute shops they have.
Day 2: I would make it an activities day, where I would book a boat tour with Swaliga II, Golden Eagle Tours or Labamba and spend my whole day on the open ocean waters.
Day 3: It would be some high time for a little R&R after a day on the water. I would make a reservation at “The Spa” in Maho and spend the most of my day there having all kinds of treatments done. The rest of my day I would spend at the Market looking for some special souvenirs to take home with me.

If I would spend 7 days on the island, I would spend my days by visiting (why):
Day 1 through to 3: see above
Day 4: By now I think I would like to know more about St. Maaretn so I guess I go spend half a day at the local museum and brush up on some history.
Day 5: At this point in time I would like to catch a ferry and see one of the neighboring islands such as Anguilla.
Day 6: Ilsand hopping would still be in full swing and I’d catch another ferry but this time head on over to St. Barths
Day 7: Seeing that it would be my last day, I would take in as much sun and beach as possible and spend a lovely day at the beach, Orient beach as there are many great water activities you could do there and loads of beach bars and restaurants.

To go out:
Tuesday: Lady C (happy hour 22:00 – 24:00) and the Alley (2 for 1 all night)
Wednesday: Bliss or Tantra (ladies night)
