Oyster Pond

Oyster Pond is divided by the border between the French and the Dutch side of the island lays Oyster Pond. The harbor from Oyster Pond is that protects sailboats and charters from the choppy Atlantic Ocean. It is a pretty marina with a few good and popular waterfront restaurants.

Dawn Beach

Dawn Beach, which gets its name from its absolutely stunning sunrises is a beautiful beach and perfect for beach strolling, rest & relaxation and a picnic lunch or if you want to work on your tan, it's easy to find a place for a little peace and quiet. It is possible to rent beach chairs and umbrellas on the beach. Dawn Beach is a fine beach of sugar white powdery sand facing the East side of Sint Maarten. The name says it all: early risers may enjoy spectacular views of sunrise with St. Barths in the distance. Snorkeling is absolutely incredible. The coral reef is a bit off the shore, so you'll have first have to swim to get to the best snorkeling spots. Neither too close nor too far from cities you won't lack for anything.
