Can I make a telephone call from my suite and what are the telephone costs? |
Yes, every unit has a direct phone line, for incoming and out going calls.
Local call: $0,50 per call, French side: $1,00 per minute, Overseas call: $4,00 per minute, Calls to the office and room-to-room calls are free.

What is the electricity in St. Maarten? |
|
The electicity is the same as the United States, 110V.
|

Is there a possibility to rent a cellular phone? |
Yes, at the front desk you can rent a cellular phone for $5.00 a day and we sell prepaid phone cards as well.
Incoming calls are free, calls to USA are $0.65 a minute, local calls are $0.36 a minute, French side, land line is $0.43 a minute, French side, cell phone is $0.75 a minute.

Is there daily maid service in the hotel? |

Yes, they will change towels every day, bed linen every other day.

Is there a laundry facility in the hotel? |

Some of the units will have a washer and/or dryer, but if you leave your laundry in a bag with a note, housekeeping will wash it for you! Additional charge depends on the load(s).

Mr. Busby’s on Dawn Beach (Oyster Pond), approximately 4 minute walk.

There are two possibilities on Dawn Beach, Mr. Busby’s and Ms. B’s, $10.00 per set per day.

Where is the nearest supermarket? |
|
Just across the street of Mr. Busby’s. Small convenience store, they are open from 7am till 10pm. There is a big supermarket called “Le Grand Marche” it’s close to Philipsburg and that’s a 10 minute drive.

|
Central air-conditioning, ceiling fans, direct-dial telephone, hairdryer, fully equipped kitchen, TV (cable TV), safety deposit box, iron & iron board and mini-bar snack items, towels.

Yes, we recommend you to rent a car. We are happy to assist you.

Yes, there is a guest computer in the office with high speed Internet. Costs are $3.00 per 15min.

No, we can assist you with airport transfer or car rental reservations.

|
If calling from the U.S. or Canada, dial 011-590-590 first for 6-digit French numbers, and 011-599 first for 7-digit Dutch numbers.

How do I call the other side? |
|
Dial 00-590-590 for a landline call to the French side from the Dutch side and 00590-690 for a cell phone call. To call the Dutch side from the French side of the island you dial 00-599.

Is there public transportation on the island? |
|
Busses run every day from 5 a.m. to midnight between Philipsburg, Marigot and Grand Case. Fare is US$1.50 from 5a.m. – 8p.m. and US$ 2.00 in the evening.

A valid passport, your local address, return travel tickets, documents for your next destination and sufficient funds are required.
